How Much Is COVID Spreading In Camden County With Delta Variant
The delta variant accounted for more than 99 percent of COVID-19 cases in New Jersey over a four-week period.
CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — Camden County and New Jersey have seen an uptick in coronavirus cases. But what does that mean for the county?
As of Friday, there have been 69,360 coronavirus cases and 1,459 coronavirus-related deaths in Camden County since the pandemic began in March 2020.
Officials continue to monitor the delta variant, which accounted for more than 99 percent of coronavirus cases in New Jersey over the last four-weeks, according to data provided by the state department of health.

Camden County has "moderate" COVID activity, according to New Jersey's latest weekly report. The determination is based on metrics such as case rate, positivity rate and prevalence of COVID-like illnesses.
The COVID-19 vaccine is available for ages 5-and-up is available at the Camden County Health Hub at Camden County College, 200 College Drive in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township.

The vaccine is administered by the Camden County Board of Commissioners, in partnership with Cooper University Health Care and the Rutgers-Camden School of Nursing. Appointments can be made by visiting https://www.cooperhealth.org/ or calling 856-549-0530.
Pfizer is currently the only approved vaccine for children under the age of 18. The Camden County Health Hub provides all brands of the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as third doses and boosters for eligible residents over the age of 18.
Appointments can be made by visiting www.CamdenCountyVaccine.com. COVID-19 vaccinations and testing are distributed by appointment only.
The Camden County Health Hub was built in two phases. The first phase opened on Oct. 14, and is administering first and second doses of Moderna, Pfizer and the Johnson & Johnson vaccines. It also includes booster doses for all three vaccines for eligible members of the population, and third doses of Moderna and Pfizer. Phase two will now encompass a pediatric component.

The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Delta variant. New cases are often reassigned to other municipalities over the course of an investigation.
