Man Gets Shot In Residential Neighborhood Of Gloucester Twp.: Police
The man was rushed to the hospital after the early morning shooting.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man was hospitalized after getting shot early Monday at a Gloucester Township home, police said.
The incident was reported around 5:30 a.m. on the unit block of Brookshire Road — part of a residential neighborhood in the township's Sicklerville section.
A 34-year-old man found inside the home was shot in the right leg and suffered blunt force trauma to his head, police said. He was rushed to Cooper University Hospital's Trauma Center and was last reported in stable condition as of 10 a.m. Monday.

Officers detained a person of interest at the scene. Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
"There is no known threat to the community at this time," said the Gloucester Township Police Department.
