Police Launch Search After NJ Woman Is Shot At Home

A woman was shot at her home in Camden County early Thursday morning, and the shooter remains at-large, police said.

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — A woman in her 20s was shot in her South Jersey home early Thursday morning, and police are searching for the shooter.

The shooting happened in the area of Hopewell Lane and Heidi Place in Winslow Township just before 1 a.m., according to police. She was taken to Cooper Hospital to be treated for her injuries.

She was shot in the abdomen, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. She was in critical but stable condition late Thursday morning, according to the prosecutor's office.

Police have no suspects at this time, and the investigation is ongoing, a spokesman for the prosecutor's office said.
