Motorcyclist Killed After Hitting SUV In Gloucester Twp. Intersection: Police
The SUV driver was removed from their vehicle and brought to the hospital.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with an SUV on Sunday in Gloucester Township, authorities said.
It happened around 3:45 p.m. at Sicklerville and Berlin-Cross Keys roads.
The motorcyclist was riding down Sicklerville Road toward Winslow Township when he hit the SUV in the intersection, police said. He was thrown off the motorcycle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene, despite life-saving efforts from first responders.

The SUV driver was safely removed from their vehicle and brought to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
Both vehicles were significantly damaged.

Police withheld the identities of all parties Sunday night, pending further investigation and notifying next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation, and no criminal charges were filed as of Sunday night.
The intersection was closed several hours as officials examined the scene.
Gloucester Township police issued the following statement:
"The Gloucester Township Police Department reminds all motorists to remain alert, avoid distractions, and drive responsibly. Obeying speed limits and wearing properly fitted helmets while operating motorcycles are critical measures in preventing serious and fatal motor vehicle crashes. Safe driving saves lives."
