CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — It has been the closest gubernatorial race in decades. With the race declared for Gov. Phil Murphy over Republican challenger Jack Ciattarelli with more than 99 percent of the votes counted, here's a look at how Camden County voted.
The voter turnout in Camden County was 36.48 percent, according to tallies published by the Camden County Board of Elections as of Monday morning. Of the 398,229 registered voters in the county, 145,287 voted either in-person or by mail. There was a 0.86 percent turnout for early voting.
Countywide, 143,262 registered voters cast ballots in this year's gubernatorial elections.

As of Monday morning, there were still 5,800 provisional ballots to be counted after the county finished counting vote-by-mail ballots. Ballots postmarked Nov. 2 were still being accepted as long as they were receive by Nov. 8. The county has until Nov. 20 to submit certified results to the state.

In Camden County, Murphy and his running mate, Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver received 88,355 votes, compared to 53,666 for Ciattarelli and his running mate, longtime state legislator Diane Allen.
In 2017, Murphy and Oliver had 81,268 votes countywide, compared to 37,113 votes for then-Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno and her running mate Carlos Rendo. Results remain unofficial.
