Mystic Ginger, which describes itself as a beauty and wellness space, has moved to 36 South Black Horse Pike in Downtown Blackwood.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A move six months in the making is coming to fruition for Gloucester Township-based Mystic Ginger.

Mystic Ginger, which describes itself as a beauty and wellness space, has moved one block, to 36 South Black Horse Pike in the Blackwood section of the township.

But as the owners explained in a Facebook post, this was “not a simple paint and move-in type situation.”

“Over the last six months, we've gutted the building and started from scratch,” the owners said in the post. “This has included installing all new exhaust ventilation, plumbing, electrical work and beyond. All of this construction work is on top of designing, buying, and building each aspect of each space- all while raising our families, working behind the chair, and running the business.”

They also noted it was in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, with supply chain and worker shortages. The new location is set to open Wednesday.
