No Competition in School Board Elections
It's three for three for both the regional high school and K-8 school districts.

There won't be any competition in the township's school elections this April.
School board elections will be held across the state on Wednesday, April 27.
In the Black Horse Pike Regional School District (BHPRSD), three incumbents will run unchallenged to retain their seats for the next three years. They are President Kevin Bucceroni, Vice President Joyce Ellis and member Ben Zanghi.

All three are running for township seats on the regional school board. There are no open board seats from Runnemede or Bellmawr this year, according to BHPRSD Business Administrator Jean Grubb, who serves as board secretary.
Township voters are being asked to approve a BHPRSD 2011-12 budget that would bring on a tax hike of $30.28 for the year for the average homeowner. The board will host a budget hearing at its March 24 meeting at Triton Regional High School, beginning at 7 p.m.

Gloucester Township Public Schools' board election will also be uncontested.
Andrew R. Lalli is the lone incumbent seeking re-election. He has served on the board for more than 30 years.
He is seeking re-election to a three-year term.
Concetta Venuto and Barry Engelbert will not seek re-election.
Newcomers Marianne Coyle and Joseph Gunn join Lalli in seeking three-year terms on the K-8 district's board.
Coyle has served as a substitute teacher in the district, and Gunn has previously served on the township's Zoning Board.
Residents should note that the district's polling places have changed this year, with only four schools slated to serve as polling locations. The following schools have been designated as voting locations: Ann A. Mullen Middle School, Charles W. Lewis Middle School, Timber Creek Regional High School and Glen Landing Middle School.
Previously, all 11 schools served as polling places.
The polling hours have also changed. Polls will be open between 3 and 9 p.m. For more information, visit the district's website at gloucestertownshipschools.org.
