Outdoor Movies In Gloucester Township Returning For Summer

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Outdoor-movie season is upon us, with Gloucester Township's "Movie in the Park" series returning this summer.

Starting Friday, the township will begin showing movies at Veterans Park. Community members are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

During each event, food and games will be available at 7:30 p.m., with each movie starting at dusk. Admission is free.

This season kicks off with "Wonka."

Here's this summer's "Movie in the Park" lineup, according to the township calendar:

• May 24: "Wonka" (no rain date)
• June 14: "Trolls" (rain date: June 21)
• July 12: "Elf" (rain date: July 19)
• Aug. 9: "Wish" (rain date: Aug. 16)
