Patch Picks: Summer Camps
Patch gives you what it feels are the five best local options for your children this summer.

1. YMCA of Gloucester County—This traditional summer camp is located a short ride up Route 42, in Woodbury, and is offered to children entering kindergarten through eighth grade as campers; students entering ninth and 10th grades can participate as leaders- and counselors-in-training. Register by April 15 to get last year's rate of $135 per week. For more information, click the above link.
2. Mainstage Center for the Arts' Summer Stage—Celebrating 23 years of high-quality visual and performing arts camps, this summer program offers a little of everything for aspiring actors, directors and producers. 3. The Franklin Institute/PACTS Summer Institute—Partnerships for Achieving Careers in Technology and Science, or PACTS, offers a six-week summer camp at the Franklin Institute for students ages 9 to 15. 4. Enchanted Dreams—Can't afford to take the family to Disney World? Send your princesses to the next best thing, right in downtown Haddonfield. A two-day camp featuring Belle kicks the summer series off on June 22-23. Four-day camps with Disney princesses like Ariel and Cinderella follow. 5. Camp Sunnyside—Like Mainstage's summer camp, Camden County's five-week program for developmentally challenged youth and adults, ages 7 and up, is held at Camden County College's Blackwood campus. Camp Sunnyside is entering its 35th summer, and will be held this year between June 27 and July 29, Monday through Friday. For more information, call 856-216-2121.
