Township Teen Arrested for Graffiti

A Gloucester Township teen was arrested Wednesday after a police patrol allegedly spotted him near freshly painted graffiti on a building in the 1400 block of Blackwood Clementon Road.

Philip Atene, 19, of Morris Avenue in Blackwood was observed standing next to fresh spray paint while holding a spray can, police said. He was had an existing warrant from Gloucester Township Municipal Court when he was taken into custody for the criminal mischief damage to the vacant building on Blackwood Clementon Road. 

He was released with a court date.
