Unidentified Man Stole Package Off Gloucester Twp. Doorstep: Police

The man started opening the package as he fled the scene, police said.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police are trying to identify a man who they say stole a package outside a Gloucester Township resident's home.

The suspect stole the package Oct. 22 at the Autumn Ridge Apartments, police said. A resident's doorbell camera caught the incident.

Surveillance footage showed the man walking up a stairwell and grabbing a delivered package outside a resident's front door. He then proceeded down the stairwell while opening the package. Watch the video here.

Autumn Ridge Apartments residents have reported three other incidents in October to police and apartment management, authorities said.
