$5M Worth Of Marijuana Found In Warren Co. Traffic Stop: WCPO

The marijuana was stashed in 44 cardboard boxes, the prosecutor said.

GREENWICH TOWNSHIP, NJ — Over $5 million worth of marijuana was found inside a tractor trailer during a commercial vehicle inspection in Greenwich, Warren County Prosecutor Richard T. Burke said.

Guangyu Wu faces one count of possession with the intent to distribute over 25 pounds of marijuana, and one count of possession of more than 50 grams on marijuana. Wu's trailer was searched at the eastbound scale facility in Greenwich on Tuesday, and police found 44 cardboard boxes containing over a thousand pounds of marijuana, Burke said.

If found guilty, Wu faces over 20 years in prison and over $300,000 in fines. He remains in the Warren County Correctional Facility.
