BREAKING: Pilot Injured in Thursday Morning Crash at Blairstown Airport

The pilot was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center and the crash is under investigation, according to Blairstown police.

BLAIRSTOWN, N.J.– A pilot suffered major injuries after a runway mishap at Blairstown Airport, the Daily Record reported.

The single engine aircraft crashed into the trees beyond the runway, according to the Daily Record.

The pilot was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center, according to a news release from Blairstown police.

He was extricated by the police and fire departments and the office of emergency management, according to the release.

The crash is being investigated by BPD, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office and the Federal Aviation Administration.
