Maddy is a local 12-year-old who was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma. She faces a year of chemotherapy, her aunt wrote on a GoFundMe.
"Maddy is in the 7th grade and loves animals, movies, doing make-up and playing at the beach with her family in Long Beach Island. She is very close with her family including her twin sister Sydney, her big sister Gemma and her step-brother Bryson. Maddy also enjoys spending time with her baby cousins Gino and Luca. Maddy is usually the one helping others and now she needs our help," her aunt wrote.
