Fall Book Sale Happening Through Hackettstown Library's Friends Group
The book sale is scheduled from Thursday, Sept. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 2, with donations still being accepted.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The Friends of the Hackettstown Library group is hosting their fall book sale, with dates coming up Sept. 30 through Oct. 2.
The sale, which will take place at the library on 110 Church Street, will run from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 30; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 1; and 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 2.
The group - a non-profit organization - is still seeking donations, which the sale will benefit programs and activities at the library. Donated items can be dropped off at the library, including gently used “books, CDs, DVD’s, puzzles and board games,” according to the Friends group.

The group is unable to accept certain used items, such as encyclopedias, outdated medical or computer books, text books and anything in poor condition.
The Friends could use help setting up on Wednesday from 1 to 8 p.m. and during the sale. Those able to volunteer should contact Jim Richards at hfplfriends@gmail.com.
