Girl Scout Cookie Sales Starting In Warren Co. With Price Bump

Expect to pay a little more for your Thin Mints this year.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Girl Scout cookie season is back in northern New Jersey, but expect to pay a little more per box when sales start on Jan. 12.

Most types, including Thin Mints, Trefoils and Samoas, will now sell for $5 a box, up from $4 last year. Two types will sell for $6 a box: the gluten free Toffee-tastic cookies and the S'mores cookies.

Cookies can be purchased directly from a Girl Scout, or they can be purchased at cookie booths. To find a cookie booth near you, click here.

Revenue raised stays in the community, Girl Scouts says, and goes to help local troops pay for activities.

“The Girl Scout Cookie Program gives girls the opportunity to develop leadership skills at a young age and learn how to run their very own business,” said Betty Garger, Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey. “The Girl Scout Cookie Program helps girls earn the proceeds they need to fund their activities, trips, and service projects, all while having fun.”
