Painting Fundraiser Benefits Hackettstown And Long Valley Childhood Cancer Foundations

"Paint for a Purpose with Alpacas" proceeds benefit Sarah's Fight for HOPE and Smiles for Margaret, two childhood cancer foundations.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The Hackettstown Rotary Club is coordinating a special event to raise monies for two local childhood cancer foundations.

On Sunday, Oct. 24 from 2-5 p.m., the Rotary is co-sponsoring “Paint for a Purpose with Alpacas,” with Elarah Parties and Celestial Acres on 214 Fairview Avenue in Long Valley.

For $75 in-person with limited space available and $50 virtual - all paint supplies included - event goers can paint for a purpose to benefit the Long Valley-based Sarah’s Fight For HOPE and Smiles for Margaret of Hackettstown.

Sarah’s Fight For HOPE Foundation was founded in memory of Sarah Crowley by her parents Ingrid and Ken Crowley, a West Morris Central High School student who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer in 2017 at age 15.

Smiles for Margaret was founded in memory of Margaret Walling, the daughter of Christopher and Donna Walling, who also passed away from childhood cancer at the age of 12 in 2013.
