Hackettstown School Renovations Toured by State Officials

Two chemistry classrooms being renovated thanks to state grants.

Several state officials from the Schools Development Authority toured Hackettstown High School this week to see the progress made on renovations funded in part by grants from the authority.

About $358,759 has been made available to the Hackettstown school through the SDA’s Regular Operating District (ROD) grant program. The money is being used to renovate two existing chemistry labs.

“Since the start of the Christie Administration, the SDA has been completely committed to improving school facilities throughout New Jersey,” said SDA CEO Marc Larkins. “This commitment is on full display here in the Hackettstown School District, where we have provided more than $2.3 million in grants for 19 projects at four different schools.”
