Heroin-Selling Near School Charges Served to Hackettstown Couple
Man and woman separately being held in jail in lieu of $35,000 bail.

A man and woman from Hackettstown were charged with attempt to distribute heroin in a school zone, a fourth-degree crime, Monday after Hackettstown police made joint arrests with the Warren County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Taskforce.
Joseph Boyle, 27, was served the distribution charge in addition to being charged with third-degree possesion of Suboxone; third-degree possession of heroin; fourth-degree attempt to distribute heroin and third-degree distribution of heroin, according to Hackettstown Police Sgt. Darren Tynan.
Elaine Roedel, 26, was charged with third-degree possession of heroin; fourth-degree attempt to distribute heroin in a school zone; third-degree distribution of heroin in a school zone; fourth-degree attempt to distribute heroin and possession of CO2 cartridges. Both were arrested just before 5 p.m.

Roedel and Boyle were unable to post $35,000 bail each, with a 10 percent option, and sent to the Warren County Correctional Facility.
