Man Caught On Video Entering Cars At Hackettstown Repair Shop: PD

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A man was caught on video entering a car and attempting to enter others parked at George’s Auto Body, and Hackettstown police are asking for the public's help in finding him.

The man was recorded at the auto shop between 7:13 p.m. and 7:23 p.m. on Monday, police said. He entered one car, and tried to get into several more during that ten minute period, police said.

He is described as a man with "a dark complexion, in his 20s, black curly hair, wearing white earbuds, dark colored shirt, grey shorts, white socks and white sneakers."

Anyone with information is asked to call Hackettstown Police Department at 908-852-3302, 908-852-3300 or send an anonymous tip by texting 888-777. The message must include “TIP HACKPD," then followed by the tip.
