Residents are invited to stay there for a few hours to recharge.

The Hackettstown Municipal Building will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday for anyone needing shelter after losing power during Hurricane Sandy.

According to Hackettstown Police Sgt. Darren Tynan, the building will remain open for any residents needing to charge phones or computers, or just to get warm.
