Three Charged In 2019 Hackettstown Trailer, Lawnmower Theft
Police said the value of the trailer and the two lawnmowers it carried amounts to $11,650.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ —Three men have been arrested and charged in connection to the Oct. 3, 2019, theft of a trailer and two walk-behind lawnmowers taken from behind a business at 715 Willow Grove Street in Hackettstown.
The value of the stolen items, a 14-foot PJ trailer and two red Ferris lawnmowers, amounts to around $11,650, police said in a press release Thursday.
An investigation, police said, led to the arrest of three men: 60-year-old Terry Lynn of Bath, Pennsylvania; 35-year-old Brandon Russ of Nazareth, Pennsylvania; and 37-year-old Philip Castner of Bath, Pennsylvania.

Lynn was charged Jan. 28, and Russ and Castner were charged Jan. 30. All three suspects are charged with third-degree theft and conspiracy to commit theft.
Lynn was released from jail pending a court appearance, police said. Castner is currently in Monroe County Jail in Pennsylvania on unrelated charges and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey. Russ is currently in Lackawanna County Jail in Pennsylvania; he's also awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
