A one-alarm fire in a home in the 200 block of Rhoades Ave. Wednesday afternoon was quickly brought under control with no reported injuries, according to Haddonfield Fire Chief Joe Riggs.
The blaze was reported at 2:07 p.m. and was quickly brought under control. It was contained to an enclosed, attached, screened porch in the rear of the home. The borough's Haddon Fire Co. 1 extinguished the flames with compressed air foam, Riggs said.
The wooden porch was significantly damaged and there was also minor interior damage to the home. Cherry Hill Firefighters also responded and helped ventilate the home.
