1 Killed, 2 Injured In Crash On Interstate In Camden Co.: Police

A car struck the rear of an SUV on the highway, authorities said.

BELLMAWR, NJ — A man was killed and two other people were injured in a crash Sunday on Interstate 76 in Camden County, authorities said.

A BMW car rear-ended a Kia SUV at 6:41 p.m. on I-76 East in Bellmawr, according to State Police.

The SUV driver — a 71-year-old man from Berlin — died in the crash. State Police withheld his name Monday morning, pending notification of kin.

His passenger was moderately injured, while the BMW driver sustained minor injuries, police said.

It's unclear what caused the crash, which remains under investigation.
