Downtown Haddonfield Marketing Team Wins Public Relations Award

HADDONFIELD, NJ — The Partnership for Haddonfield (PfH) and agency Suasion Communications Group have been recognized with a New Jersey Tourism Excellence Award for Public Relations by the New Jersey Tourism Industry Association (NJTIA), PfH announced.

They were recognized for the work they did keeping Downtown Haddonfield in the forefront amid the coronavirus pandemic.

They engaged in a public relations campaign that consisted of press releases and pitches targeting regional media that promoted Haddonfield as a beautiful, clean, and safe destination that was open for business.

Posts on the Downtown Haddonfield’s Instagram and Facebook pages were populated with vibrant imagery, videos, hashtags, and custom-designed social media graphics, which grew the Downtown’s social media presence as it engaged and informed visitors daily about the Downtown.

“Despite the odds, foot traffic in the Downtown continued to flow through stores and restaurants throughout the pandemic period, and over two dozen new businesses joined or expanded in the Downtown,” PfH Chair Susan Hodges said.

“The award-winning collaborative work of the PfH and Suasion has truly positioned the Downtown as a mecca for small businesses, and a business district that can overcome any challenge,” Suasion Communications Group President Susan Adelizzi-Schmidt said.

The Partnership for Haddonfield (PfH) is the management corporation for Downtown Haddonfield, NJ’s Business Improvement District.
