Haddon Garage Fire Under Investigation: Fire Officials

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ - A Tuesday evening garage fire in Haddon Township is under investigation, fire officials said.

The blaze was reported shortly before 8:30 p.m. on the 1200 block of Newton Ave for a garage fire, the Collingswood Fire Department said in a statement.

“Multiple callers were reporting a garage on fire in the area,” the fire department said, adding that first responders found the blaze in a detached garage behind the 1300 block of Newton Avenue.

“A single hand line was stretched to extinguish the fire,” fire officials said, and the fire was placed under control shortly thereafter.

The fire is under investigation by the Haddon Township Fire Marshal's Office.
