Haddon Lake Park Concert Canceled Due To Inclement Weather
First it was poor air quality, now a rainy forecast. Mother Nature hasn't been on the side of this year's Sundown Music Series.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — First it was poor air quality, now a rainy forecast. Mother Nature has once again interfered with the Sundown Music Series, with organizers canceling Wednesday's outdoor concert because of inclement weather.
The show was set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Haddon Lake Park. There's no rescheduled date at this time, according to Camden County officials, who oversee the concert series.
The Sundown Music Series brings outdoor concerts to the park each summer. This season's opening concert — originally slated for June 7 — was postponed to June 14 because of air-quality concerns linked to smoke from this month's Canadian wildfires.

Wednesday's concert lineup included Samantha Fish Featuring Jesse Dayton, plus Julia Pratt. Camden County Rocks promoted the headliner as an "(a)ward-winning musician re-defining the blues with her impressive guitar work and strong songwriting." But it's unclear whether they'll take the stage at the park this summer.
The next Sundown Music Series show — Travel Lanes, featuring Cloudbelly — takes place at 7:30 p.m. July 12. Here's the full schedule for Camden County's summer concerts.
