Incumbents Lead In Unofficial Haddon Township Election Results

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — With all precincts reporting, it appears as though the three incumbents on the Haddon Township Public School District Board of Education have all been re-elected, according to unofficial results from the Camden County Clerk's Office.
With 15 out 15 precincts reporting, Board Members James Lex, Allison Rodman and Dave Ricci appear to have outlasted their challenger Mark Henley in Tuesday night's election.
Vote totals can be found below. Results remain unofficial until they are certified; it may take a few days to count mail-in ballots.

Dave Ricci: 3,019

Write-in: 84
Lex is the Board of Education President, and Rodman is the Board of Education Vice President. Ricci is also an incumbent board member. Challenger Henley ran under the slogan, “Kids Future Matter.”

The winners will be sworn in to the board in January, and will help the school district continue to navigate its way through the coronavirus pandemic, including issues of mask and vaccination mandates.
Just before the polls closed, a superior court judge in Mercer County reportedly rejected a request from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the League of Women Voters to keep polls open until 9:30 p.m.
