It may not come cheap, but GOBankingRates says Haddonfield stands among the nation's best in 2 key factors for homebuyers.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — While it may not come cheap, Haddonfield is one of the nation's safest and wealthiest locales, according to a new list.

GOBankingRates, an online personal-finance publication, ranked the nation's 30 "Safest and Richest" cities to live in. The list, released Aug. 31, puts Haddonfield at No. 12.

To develop the rankings, GOBankingRates analyzed average household income, cost of living indexes and crime rates, among other data. GOBankingRates acknowledges that the cities aren't exactly budget-friendly, with median household incomes exceeding $250,000 in all 30 municipalities.
