Haddonfield Among Top 10 School District In NJ, Per New Rankings

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Haddonfield has Camden County's top school system and the eighth-best in the state, according to Niche's 2024 Best Schools and Districts.

The rankings released this week place the Haddonfield School District at No. 8 out of 245 qualifying districts in New Jersey. Overall, Haddonfield schools earned an A-plus from Niche, a web platform that evaluates and compares schools and communities across the nation.

Meanwhile, the Haddon Township School District ranked third in the county and 102nd in New Jersey, with an overall grade of B-plus. (See how Niche graded each of the districts' schools below.)

The Niche.com rankings, which have been out for the past nine years, compare K–12 schools and districts across the United States. The website combines input from current students, alumni and parents with hard data from sources including the U.S. Department of Education.

Niche said its rankings were created to provide families with valuable information—both quantitative and qualitative—on schools in their area or in a neighborhood they’re not familiar with yet.

Niche's rankings differ from others that rely almost exclusively on test scores and academic performance in that they also include input from students, alumni and parents, as well as quantitative data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities.
