Haddonfield Halloween Parade Canceled Due To Storms
One of Haddonfield's biggest annual traditions will not go on this year.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — Haddonfield's Halloween Parade has been canceled because of inclement weather.
Borough officials announced the decision late Thursday morning. The event had been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
While the annual tradition typically runs rain or shine, the forecast of heavy rain, powerful winds and potential thunderstorms prompted the cancelation.

The weather will clear up by Halloween on Friday, according to forecasters.
Hundreds of children in costume participate in the Halloween Parade each year, with Haddonfield Memorial High School's marching band leading the way.

The event is organized by the Haddonfield Celebrations Association, a volunteer group.
"We’re sad to say the parade is canceled tonight due to the weather," the organization said on Facebook, "but we hope everyone enjoys trick-or-treating tomorrow night!
