Heavy Rain Washes Out Footbridge on Newton Creek
Thursday deluge floods parts of Newton Creek in Haddon Township.

Heavy rains Thursday fell in Haddon Township between noon and 2 p.m. Rainfall, combined with street runoff and a fallen tree, flooded this foot bridge over the Newton Creek near Crystal Lake Park off Norwood Avenue.
It was not immediately reported when the tree fell. Most of the flooding seemed to come from water runoff from the road.
