High School Graduates to Receive Awards

The Lawnside Scholarship Club will host its 50th Annual Salute to Graduating High School Seniors on Sunday, June 8 at 3 p.m. at Tavistock Country Club, 100 Tavistock Lane, Haddonfield. The celebration will be the first held in person since before the pandemic in 2020.
Eighteen Lawnside residents who will graduate from area high schools will be honored for their academic achievements, talents and career plans. The graduates represented Camden County Technical School, Haddon Heights, Paul VI and Eastside high schools.
The Club will award more than $15,000 in scholarships, continuing a tradition that was inaugurated in 1975. A group of Lawnside women expanded on the mission of the first scholarship given in 1945 to found the Scholarship Club.
