Music Festival Canceled In Haddon Township Due To Inclement Weather
The Summer Solstice festival was set for late Friday afternoon and evening, when showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast.
HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A music festival in Haddon Township has been canceled because of inclement weather.
The Summer Solstice Music Festival was slated for 4-10 p.m. Friday, when weather officials predict showers and thunderstorms for the area. The festival had five bands lined up, along with food trucks, a beer garden and children's entertainment.
The township said on its Facebook page to check back for updates regarding the festival.

The National Weather Service expects rainy conditions to last into next week for Haddon Township. Some of Friday's storms could produce heavy rain, the agency said.

Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
- Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
