Obituary: Harold E. Haynes

Harold E. Haynes, 94, of Cherry Hill, died on Saturday.

He was the beloved husband for 68 years of Caryl A. (nee MacDiarmid); loving father of Janet (Robert) Lehman, Patricia (Charles) Sislen, and Wendy (Kevin) Eastman; devoted grandfather of Matthew (Jocelyn) Lehman, Caryline (Chris) Barberich, Wendy Lehman, Everett, Mark and Laura Sislen and Jake Eastman; Great grandfather of Troy and Violet Lehman. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Everett and Maybel and his siblings Robert, Arthur and Virginia. 

Mr. Haynes had been an electrical engineer at RCA for 42 years.  During his retirement, he was a very active volunteer at the Franklin Institute and the Indian King Tavern Museum.

Mr. Haynes’ family will receive friends on Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield, 20 E. Kings Highway, Haddonfield. Service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment private.
