Obituary: Patricia Chadwick Bruder

Patricia Chadwick Bruder (nee Boden), 93, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, died Sunday.

She was the wife of the late William G. Chadwick and Herbert J. Bruder; loving mother of Patricia Oberholzer (Robert) of Haddonfield; Eileene Sloan (Tod) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; William G. Chadwick Jr. (Nell) of Severna Park, MD; Kathleen Kuehnle of Haddon Township; and the late Michael J. Chadwick; beloved grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of 12. 

Until retiring to Fort Lauderdale in 2001, Mrs. Chadwick Bruder was a lifelong resident of Center City, Philadelphia. She raised her five children at the Benjamin Franklin and Bellevue Stratford Hotels and throughout her life and was active in raising funds for Roman Catholic and civic causes. 

Mrs. Chadwick Bruder’s family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Christ the King RC Church, 200 Windsor Ave., Haddonfield, where her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
