HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Philly-famous pizzeria has reached Haddon Township.

Santucci's Original Square Pizza is now available at The Taproom & Grill, thanks to a partnership between the two businesses.

For more than 15 years, The Taproom has offered food and a wide selection of beer. Santucci's is now taking the lead in their kitchen, offering essentially the same menu that you'll find at all other Santucci's locations.

The Santucci's brand got started in 1959, when Joseph and Philomena Santucci opened their first restaurant in North Philadelphia. Their family recipe — making pizza in a square pan with the sauce above the cheese — was considered unconventional at first but has since inspired pizzerias throughout Greater Philly.

Santucci's now has more than a dozen locations, and they continue to pop up around South Jersey. The Cherry Hill restaurant opened in November, and a Deptford location is on the way.
