Women, Words, & Wisdom host uplifting fundraiser on May 31 in Marlton
Nonprofit Women, Words, & Wisdom dedicates "Seeds of Hope: A Path to Healing Program" on Saturday, May 31 in Marlton at 11 a.m.

South Jersey-based nonprofit, Women, Words, & Wisdom, will host an inaugural Spring event and fundraiser called “Seeds of Hope Dedication,” at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31 at a park in Marlton, NJ. Volunteers will plant flowers as a symbol of resilience and strength, and then meet for lunch and lively conversation at a local restaurant.
The money raised will be ear-marked for the Ida B. Wells Program of Women, Words, & Wisdom, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by South Jersey-based business owner Jo-Ann Weiner, who is passionate about women’s issues, financial literacy, and educational equity. Weiner is an award-winning tax and forensic accounting professional with more than 35 years of tax accounting industry experience, as well as an acclaimed author of the book, A Ragged Journey.
“The money we raise at our events go to New Jersey students struggling to pay for college tuition and textbooks,” Jo-Ann said. “The gender wage gap is a real thing because women still only make 83 cents for every $1 a man makes. Women, Words, & Wisdom’s mission is to inform women about current issues so they can make beneficial life choices for themselves.”
