2011 proved a banner year for Haddonfield sports. The Bulldawgs simply dominated across the board, producing championships and state titles in sports every season this year.
The list of accomplishments is impressive: an undefeated season for boys’ cross-country, and soccer winning championship titles, taking the South Jersey Group 2 championship. The football team also had a great run, in the Group 2 championship game.
Over on the mats, won a District 28 championship and Haddonfield made it to its group championship, falling to Paulsboro. Perhaps the team can attribute its many victories to doing whatever it took to stay in shape, including yoga. At the end of the season, Haddonfield to coach Pete DiPol.

In girls’ tennis, coach Jeff Holman started off 2011 on a high note, winning the National Federation of State High School Associations Coaches Association’s coach of the year award for the previous year. The girls’ tennis team did Holman proud, taking the South Jersey Group 2 championship and losing a match only in tournament play this season.
