Care on the Corner announces the Kids on the Corner Summer Theater Workshop as part of a COTC Summer of ARTS.Kids on the Corner is a Performing Arts Program for children in grades 2 – 7. This session marks the 45th production of Kids on the Corner. The goal of Kids on the Corner is to educate and enlighten children in different art forms and cultural experiences. The children are offered opportunities to learn about history, culture, visual arts, theater production, set design, costume design, music and acting.
The Performing Arts Workshop meets Monday – Thursday, August 19 – 22 from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm. Under the direction of Jennifer Ashline, the group will present Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Ghostbusters. All are welcome to come out and see the production on Thursday, August 22 at
7:00 pm.

This project is being directed by Jennifer Ashline. Jen has a Master of Arts degree with a high concentration in Popular Culture. She has used her expertise to teach through film and other entertainment venues. She is also the creative director for Care on the Corner’s Satellite Program Arts Today in NJ.
The group meets at the First Reformed Church, 300 Washington Place, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Call the Care Center at 201-288-9460 to register. There is a $50 registration fee. Space is limited. Please register early.
