Last Council Meeting of 2012 Set for Thursday

Hasbrouck Heights mayor and council conducts its final meeting for 2012 Thursday, Dec. 27.

The Hasbrouck Heights council will conduct the final regular public meeting or the year this Thursday, Dec. 27 with a light agenda consisting of mostly routine business.

Some items include the start of business for the new year such as authorizing the renewal of hotel licenses for 2013 and authorizing entry into the 2013-2014 contract with the PBA.

The latest reports from the police, fire, streets and sanitation, recreation, library, health department, finance and public facilities will be presented as the monthly report from Mayor Rose Heck.

The mayor and council will convene on Jan. 1 at 11:45 a.m. for the annual reorganization meeting where Republican Councilman Russell Lipari will be sworn into his second term and Democrat Christian Semenecz will be sworn in as councilman.
