Lipari, Semenecz to be Sworn in Tuesday

Hasbrouck Heights conducts its annual reorganization meeting Tuesday, Jan. 1 starting at 11:45 a.m.

Hasbrouck Heights will begin business for the new year by swearing in re-elected Republican Councilman Russell Lipari and Democrat Christian Semenecz, a former councilman, on New Year's Day.

The annual reorganization meeting will begin at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1 in council chambers at Borough Hall.

Lipari will be sworn in to his second term by Bergen County Executive Kathleen Donovan. Semenecz will be sworn in by Congressman Bill Pascrell.

The reorganization meeting will also include appointments for the new year and the 2012 annual report presented by Mayor Rose Heck and council persons.

Following the meeting, there will be a light lunch served in the senior center.
