Garbage  WILL be picked up on Monday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve for Zone 1.  Hasbrouck Heights municipal offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Dec. 24 and Dec. 25. Residents should note that there will be no garbage collection for Zone 2 on Tuesday, Dec. 25, Christmas Day. There will be collection on Monday, Dec. 24 for Zone 1. Collection will resume on the next day of the week garbage is regularly picked up which is Friday for Zone 2. The Hasbrouck Heights Public Library will also be closed on Monday and Tuesday as well as the senior center. Municipal offices, library and senior center will all reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 26. Schools will be closed all week on winter recess. Students go back on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
