Municipal offices, the library and senior center will be closed on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Garbage will be picked up on Monday, Dec. 31 for Zone 1. There will be no garbage collection on Tuesday, Jan. 1 for Zone 2 in observance of the holiday. Borough Hall will be opened on Tuesday for the reorganization meeting but offices will remain closed. All are welcome to the reorganization meeting where Republican Councilman Russell Lipari will be sworn in to a second term by County Executive Kathleen Donovan and Democrat Christian Semenecz will be sworn in by Congressman Bill Pascrell. Annual appointments will be made and Mayor Rose Heck will present the 2012 annual report. The reorganization meeting will begin at 11:45 a.m. in council chambers. A light lunch will follow in the senior center.
