• Off-Duty Wood-Ridge PD Witnesses Road Rage Crash in Hasbrouck Heights (tapinto.net) — Hasbrouck Heights police are investigating a road rage crash on Route 17 South that brought down a pole and damaged multiple vehicles, after two drivers initially fled the scene. An off-duty Wood-Ridge officer helped identify the fleeing cars, leading to the arrest of a 28-year-old East Rutherford man, while two Brooklyn motorists and a Tesla were also involved.
   

• HS Bowling:  Hasbrouck Heights, Wood-Ridge Each Post 5-2 Wins (tapinto.net) — Hasbrouck Heights High School’s bowling team stayed hot in NJIC Meadowlands play, rallying past Rutherford 5-2 in North Arlington to remain unbeaten in league matches at 8-0. Led by big games from William Munoz and teammates, the Aviators took the final two games and total wood, while neighboring Wood-Ridge also earned a 5-2 win over Harrison.
