Woman Hit, Killed By Train In Bergen County: Authorities
A woman was hit and killed late Monday by a non-revenue train approaching toward Hoboken, authorities said.
GARFIELD, NJ — A pedestrian woman was hit and killed Monday night by an out-of-service train moving along the Bergen County line near the Garfield station, New Jersey Transit spokesperson Jim Smith said.
The non-revenue train approaching toward Hoboken was carrying no passengers, and there were no injuries reported to the crew on board, Smith said.
New Jersey Transit police are leading the investigation.
