Saturday, April 21: Volunteer Opportunity: Lego Buddies - Grades 8-12
We are looking for reliable teen volunteers in Grades 8-12 to provide assistance during our Lego Club programs. Teen Lego Buddies will help children with their creations, provide suggestions and encouragement, and will demonstrate an enthusiastic presence throughout the program. Teen volunteers must be punctual and able to assist the Children's librarians as needed. You must register for each individual session. Volunteers will earn community service hours for their attendance. Space is limited to 5 volunteers per session! NOTE: Registrants that sign-up are automatically accepted to be a Lego Buddy. Volunteers that register agree to arrive at the specified date and time for the Lego Buddy session. The library reserves the right to register exemplary volunteers for future sessions.
