Auten Road School Hosts Saturday's Fireworks

The fun starts at 5 p.m.

Hillsborough will host its Independence Day Fireworks display on Saturday, at Auten Road Intermediate School.
No parking will be available at the school, but free shuttle buses will begin taking passengers to the site at 4:30 p.m. from both Hillsborough Middle School and Hillsborough High School. 
This year's event promises to offer lots of family fun and entertainment. Before the fireworks begin around 9:30 p.m., residents can enjoy:

  • Inflatable rides
  • Face painting
  • Community kickball and volleyball games
  • Oil painting demonstrations using the fireworks event as the subject
  • A few lucky patrons of the event will be able to sit for quick portrait studies completed by students of the Art Academy of Hillsborough.
  • The famous "food tent” will have refreshments available for purchase.
  • An interactive D] will provide musical entertainment and activities.
  • The Hillsborough Rockettes and Rocket will be performing.
The rain date is Sunday.
All residents are encouraged to come out with their families and enjoy a night of entertainment and amazing fireworks to help celebrate Independence Day.
