"Although the holiday season is a happy time for many, it can be especially difficult for those dealing with mental health issues. We want to inspire those who attend our event to incorporate the holiday spirit of gratitude and giving into their daily lives, with strategies that are reflective, intentional and action-oriented," according to Minda Maggio, Co-chair for BoroSafe.
The "Gratitude ~ Today and Beyond" event is supported by Hillsborough Township and the Hillsborough School district, which has been designated a Stigma-Free Community since the fall of 2020.
