Cars Egged, Covered In Syrup & Milk Part Of 'Prank War' In Hillsborough: Blotter
The Hillsborough Township Police blotter for August also included 16 driving while intoxicated arrests.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A "prank war," multiple driving while intoxicated(DWI) arrests, and more were reported in the Hillsborough Township Police blotter for August.
On Aug. 30, Hillsborough Police Officers responded to Tall Oak Lane for the report of juveniles damaging vehicles.
Once on scene, two groups of juveniles and their parents were engaged in a dispute over the damage to the vehicles, according to police.

The investigation revealed the group of friends were engaged in a "prank war" with each other, which resulted in vehicles being egged, covered in syrup or milk and shooting each other with water guns and airsoft guns.
The investigation is ongoing.

Aug. 2: Stuart Colangelo, 57, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
Aug. 4: Weis Supermarket (315 Rt. 206) reported two men entered the store and stole $1,122.76 worth of items on July 30. The investigation is ongoing.
Aug. 7: Quick Check (273 Rt. 206) reported two unknown women left the store with $6 worth of items without paying. The investigation is ongoing.
Aug. 7: Louis Rigs, 59, of Manville, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
Aug. 7: Seabox Inc. (321 Valley Road) reported that four transformers were stolen off trailers in their yard overnight. The investigation is ongoing.
Aug. 8: John Adams, 62, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI and disorderly conduct (Disorderly Persons) during an investigation of a dispute on River Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
Aug. 8: Sedrick Bailer, 40, of Lawrenceville, was arrested for hindering (Disorderly Persons) after he provided a fake name to officers while on a traffic stop on Raider Boulevard. He was served his summonses and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
Aug. 9: Three people from Marlboro, Newark, and Belle Mead were charged with consuming alcohol in a township park (Township Ordinance) when they were found drinking alcohol in the Willow Road Park (291 Willow Road). They were served their summonses and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
Aug. 11: Joseph Zakzewski, 24, of Bridgewater, was arrested for DWI while on an ATV crash investigation on Blackpoint Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
Aug. 12: Two 19-year-olds from Hillsborough were charged with disorderly conduct (Township Ordinance) after they were found doing "burnouts" and "doughnuts" in the parking lot of the South Branch Reform Church (870 South Branch Road). They were served their summonses and advised of their HTMC date.
Aug. 13: Hayda Elsayed, 25, of Bridgewater, was charged with possession of a fraudulent insurance card (Disorderly Persons) after providing one on a traffic stop on Route 206. She was served her summonses and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
Aug. 14: Brent Bachert, 28, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on South Branch Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
Aug. 16: Katherine Almeida, 58, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Auten Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
Aug. 16: Rufino Bautista, 30, of New Brunswick, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amsterdam Drive. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
Aug. 17: Jerry Weikel, 36, of Bedminster, was charged with disorderly conduct (Disorderly Persons) and lewdness (Disorderly Persons) at the Days Inn Hotel (118 Rt. 206). He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Aug. 23: A 40-year-old male resident of Concord Street reported he was assaulted by a 17-year-old female neighbor over a comment about her dog. He was treated for injuries on scene by Robert Wood Johnson BLS. The investigation is ongoing.
Aug. 25: A resident of Royce Court reported a basket containing items from his vehicle was stolen from his carport while the vehicle was getting detailed. The basket contained sunglasses, tote bags and a baby on board sign. He valued the items at $187. The investigation is ongoing.
Aug. 26: During an inspection of the Spring Li Spa (312 Rt. 206) the owner Guifeng Yang, 59, of Flushing, NY, was charged with violations of township ordinances for employing three unlicensed masseurs and failing to post prices for services in the open. He was given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date and released.
Aug. 31: Marvin Parasram, 37, of Skillman, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Mountainview Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
Aug. 31: Matios Getahun, 54, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
